Of course, the ideal rake is one that will take all the hay from the field and leave the trash. This was next to impossible with the old rakes, where the teeth themselves rested upon the ground. In the Sulky rake, however, the teeth being suspended form above, they can be hung as far from the ground as desired, and by this means escape the trash. Among the best of the latter class in the Springfield Buckeye....
These "Buckeye Rakes" are manufactured by P.P. Mast and Co., Springfield, Ohio....They are among the largest Manufactureres of Agricultural Implements in the Country. Their works were established in 1856, and now their manufacturies have a floorage of some ten acres.
