I knew Rena Rustad was doing wonderful stamping things in Roseglen, North Dakota, because she had contacted me about my catalog way back in February. But she likes unmounteds and I don't sell my stamps unmounted except as plates.
And anyway, I have a fond spot in my heart for North Dakota since my grandfather homesteaded there in 1905. After all, I almost live in North Dakota.
Then there was a list mention about these really beautiful acrylic blocks and when I went to the web site, low and behold, it's Rena Rustad, and she is now producing acrylic blocks to use with unmounted stamps.
The rest is history. She will be making acrylic blocks to go with my frame stamps.
These blocks are absolutely gorgeous! They have rounded edges so you don't stab yourself stamping and there are no saw marks on the edges. In fact, they look like glass. If you pasted a picture on the back of them you would be hard pressed to tell it wasn't a fine quality glass paperweight.
Yes, I'm frothing at the mouth. You will be too when you see these blocks!
