Brayers

I've have always called rollers brayers, and have had more than one stamp customer ask me what I was talking about. In any case,I have tried a number rollers, but I always keep going back to the Rainbow rollers. I really appreciate the small, rubber-tipped feet that let me put my brayer down on my work space without getting ink all over the place.

Some brayers I've used have a heavy plastic cover of sorts that keep me from seeing the entire brayer surface, which can be a problem if you're looking for a piece of glitter or something that is messing up your stamped image.

And finally, I like the fact that I can remove the old roller and put in a new one if the roller gets chewed on by the dog, or otherwise becomes fodder for carving rather than inking up stamps.

I carry the medium roller, 3 5/16 inches wide, since this is the size that fits my stamps and most stamp pads best. You may order the rollers for $9 plus shipping, or the roller refills for $5 plus shipping. Don't forget to order an extra roller for your dog to chew on!
