Adirondack Dye Ink Stamp Pads

These cushioned, raised felt pads come in colors I think work particularly well with the etching images I use to create Whiskey Creek Stamps. There are all kinds of stamp pads that are promoted as being antique looking, but give me an Adirondack any day.

Adirondack stamp pads are acid free and clean up with water. No special stamp cleaners needed. Stamped on coated paper, Adirondack dye ink will remain wet long enough to emboss. I often use clear detail powder to emboss my stamped images so I don't have to worry about the dye bleeding when I color the images.

These are scans of the color card, so please remember that the scanning process and the resolution of your computer screen has a lot to do with what the sample color looks like on the web page as you will be seeing it. Mostly, the colors are a bit flatter than they really are, a bit muted. The color Mushroom, for example, looks like a light gray. But it has a very nice subtle silvery look to it when stamped.

These Adirondack reinkers have the new fine-point tip which allows you to place the ink very precisely, especially nice when you use reinkers for creating and mixing dye colors for backgrounds. They are relatively large bottles compared to some stamp pad reinkers -- they are a full one ounce.

As mentioned on my home page, I no longer have Adirondacks in stock, but Rena Rustad, The Prairie Stamper, orders regularly and also has the five new colors in stock.
